Matt Barnes Out Thursday, Ebanks May Be Too.

Matt Barnes will not be traveling with the Lakers up to his hometown of Sacramento because of the ankle injury he sustained in Sundays win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Dr. Robert Klapper of Cedar Sinai went on the Max and Marcellus show today and said it was a microscopic tear of a ligament in his Barnes’s ankle that is keeping him out. Klapper was amazed that Barnes went out in the third quarter and said that it could not have helped his ankle by playing those minutes.

Barnes says he will be ready for the playoffs.

If the wasn't bad enough, Devin Ebanks could miss the game after he dropped a barbell on his hand. He bruised the ring + middle fingers of his left hand and it is in a splint. He is questionable for the final regular season game in Sacramento.
"@Mike_Bresnahan Devin Ebanks bruised the ring + middle fingers of his left hand b/c of what's being a called a "weightlifting accident." Not even kidding."
This would mean that the Lakers are going to be missing all three of their small fowards with the suspension of World Peace. Kobe will get alot of playing time at the small foward and may even start there. The Lakers will probably also have to bring up Christian Eyenga  from the D-League, who they got in the Ramon Sessions trade from Cleveland.
