Lakers Willing to Trade World Peace?

The NBA draft will take place on Thursday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers do not have a pick in the first round of the draft, but that may change with the team considering trading Metta World Peace for a late first-round pick according to Sam Amico of FoxSportsOhio.com:

“The Lakers are exploring all kinds of potential deals, having floated every name on the roster this side of Kobe Bryant. They are said to be open to trading Metta World Peace for a late first-rounder, with their eyes on Baylor forward Quincy Miller and Kentucky point guard Marquis Teague.”

The Lakers are looking to shed salary and get younger in the process. They have been the team hurt the most by the new collective bargaining agreement. This could be a move to do both.
