Lakers Reach Out to Ramon Sessions to Start Free Agency

Mitch Kupchak had stated in the past that the Lakers' first order of business when free agency kicks off was re-signing PG Ramon Sessions. According to Mike Bresnahan, Kupchak stayed true to his word.


Shortly after the free agent period began, Kupchak called Sessions' agent to begin talks on a new deal. Sessions, who opted out of the remaining year of his deal this off-season, is most likely looking for the security of a multi-year. The Lakers, on the other hand, are just looking for a starting point guard that can produce.
