MRI Reveals Fracture in Steve Nash's Leg

After an MRI on Saturday showed he has a non-displaced fracture in his left leg, Steve Nash will be sidelined for at least a week.

Nash suffered a lower contusion in the leg during the Lakers' loss Wednesday to Portland after colliding with rookie point guard Damian Lillard in the first half. That injury kept Nash out of the Lakers' loss Friday to the Clippers.

Nash will miss at least three more games, including those against the Detroit Pistons (tonight), Utah (Wednesday) and Golden State (Friday). Nash will be reevaluated next week.

Lakers guard Steve Blake will start in Nash's place. Blake scored eight points on 2-of-6 shooting, two assists and three turnovers in 38 minutes against the Clippers.
