Report: Howard expected to re-sign with Lakers

Dwight Howard could reportedly re-sign with the Lakers, according to ESPN Insider Chris Palmer.

Howard is also reportedly considering the Rockets, Mavericks, Hawks and Warriors, with Houston expected to pose the biggest threat to Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old center averaged 17.1 points, 12.4 rebounds, 2.4 blocks, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals in his first season with the Lakers. Despite his personal numbers and another All-Star selection, Howard's season was a frustrating one as he struggled to bounce back from off-season back surgery and the Lakers failed to live up to lofty expectations.
