Kobe Bryant Will Not Play Tonight Vs Suns

Last night, Kobe Bryant played 36 minutes in the  Lakers’ win over the Pistons. That was most he's played in 11 months and his body is paying the price.

Baxter Holmes of ESPN:
Lakers star Kobe Bryant will not play Monday against the Phoenix Suns
“Right now, I’m barely standing up. My back and my legs, man, it’s killing me,” he said Sunday
“I’m not looking forward to walking to the car right now,” Bryant said. “Seriously.”
The Lakers have went through a tough stretch early in the schedule. Tonight’s game in Phoenix will be the Lakers’ fifth in seven days in five cities. Kobe will have played in just two of the five.

The Lakers’ schedule gets a little easier from here. They’ll have three days off before hosting the Raptors on Friday and Trail Blazers on Sunday. After the relatively short trip to Golden State on Tuesday, the Lakers have three more off days.

This will be a good chance for Kobe to get his legs under him.
